Thanks ozdean, for your encouraging comments!!
Good job on this. Works well and is simple to amend for your own needs.
Thank you !! The Artist and Song Title now shows. Great work!
New features added!!
Well few more things are there that can be implemented but not all maybe.
I am developing some other mp3 player also with additional features (at a later date)...but few things that you have suggested can be implemented if not all of them.
Oh, and two more things,
Can you change the default volume to say 50 % instead of 100%?
Can you disable/enable the player to autostart?
Excellent work I really like it!
I have played with it and it seems really nice and easy to put all the songs in the playlist from the xml file.
Just a couple of questions...
1. How do you make the Song Title scroll?
2. How can you make the Artist appear?
3. Can you make the player repeat the playlist when finished?
Added 3 colors. check this out.
Sure no problem
Just one question, even if I make a silver one that means you have to buy the mp3 player again?
Though the cost will be less this time :)
OK. This will be done. I will place another player with a new color variation of silver or grey theme.
By this weekend it will get uploaded.
Thanks for the suggestion!
Thanks for your reply, I have done this but still I can't change the outline from Yellow to another colour. The centre colour I can change but not the outline. Also the yellow reflection I can't change the colour.
Can you please do make another MP3 player exactly the same but with a silver or grey theme? The Yellow is nice but it won't work in my project, too bright. I am sure if you do this more people will buy it.
Thank you for showing interest on this player.
1. Double-click the main movie clip - FSMP3Playerv1
2. Again select the grouped buttons (7 orange colors button) >> Double Click.
Note - Once you double click, now you will notice that you can select the individual buttons.
3. Select anyone of them and again double click.
Note - This will take you to the section where you can edit the orange color to anything and Also the black colored symbols to anything else.
4. Double click the orange color button graphic again. double click on the orange button itself (not on the black icon!).
5. At last, do a final double click to enter the editing mode.
6. Then, select the button, Go to "Window" (in the menu) >> "Color Mixer".
Note - This will open up the gradient color panel and you will see what I have used. Just select the sliders and change the colors that you want to.
A last note - Follow the double click instructions properly. This will properly lead you to the point#5.
You need to just change one button color, others are in symbols, so it will reflect in the rest of the buttons.
Hope this helps! and do let me know if you have any confusions. ALL THE BEST for your project!
Hi, I just bought the MP3 Player, is it possible to help me change the colour from Yellow to a silver or grey colour to use with a project please?
Yes, it is possible. Actually the only thing that you have to do is just click on the button elements and it will take you to the button graphic within 4 steps. Once you catch hold of the button change the color as per your convenience. Change in 1 button and it will reflect in all the 7 buttons.
That's easy! Even if you feel to ask any questions, feel free to ask here regarding colors and any other queries, we will reply.
Thanks for your interest.
Is it possible without going to too much trouble to include a few different colours like grey or silver? I don't have much experience with flash at this stage so any help will be appreciated.
Yes you can change colors but not through XML. The easiest way to do so is open the source files with your Flash application and select the button instance in the stage.
All these buttons (orange colors web 2.0 effect) belongs to one single graphic. So its easy that when you change one color, it effects all of them at one place.
To make it more simpler, we did not use any image graphics into this mp3 player development. All design elements are made within flash.
Hi, I am interested in the MP3 player. Can you tell me if it allows you to change colours? Cheers, John
